So many people ask why buy natural soaps? what is the benefit?
That is such a great question! You can buy a 6 pack of a brand name soap off the shelf at your local grocer for what $8.00 or something. Why would you pay more for natural?Commercial soaps are made in huge batches from detergents, surfactants (a chemically derived product that promotes foaming), synthetic fragrance and many other synthetic (chemically derived) products. They can strip the natural oils from your skin, and possibly cause skin rashes, dry, chapped skin, and many other symptoms of dermatitis.
This is not only because of the synthetic additives in the soap but also because most commercial soaps have their glycerin extracted and sold to other industries. This is why your skin feels dry and itchy after you use them.
Our skin needs that glycerin to hydrate itself!
